Förderung für wissenschaftliche Workshops im Freistaat Bayern und dem Bundestaat São Paulo

Das Bayerische Hochschulzentrum für Lateinamerika (BAYLAT) schreibt zusammen mit der Stiftung zur Forschungsförderung im Bundesstaat São Paulo (Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo - FAPESP) nach drei sehr erfolgreichen Runden der FAPESP/BAYLAT-Anschubfinanzierung dieses Jahr erstmalig eine Förderung für wissenschaftliche Workshops im Freistaat Bayern und dem Bundestaat São Paulo aus. Das Programm für die FAPESP/BAYLAT-Workshops richtet sich an alle Disziplinen und ist themenoffen. FAPESP und BAYLAT werden die Workshops zu gleichen Teilen ko-finanzieren.

Bewerbungsfrist ist der 26. Februar 2016.

Folgende Kosten können für die WorkshopteilnehmerInnen aus den Fördergeldern beglichen werden:

-       Reisekosten (Flugtickets in der Economy Klasse);
-       Reisekosten innerhalb des Bundestaates São Paulo bzw. Bayerns;
-       Hotelkosten sowie
-       Tagegeldpauschalen.

Die Workshops dienen der Intensivierung und dem Ausbau der Zusammenarbeit in den Bereichen Wissenschaft und Forschung der Partnerregionen Bayern und São Paulo und fördern insbesondere NachwuchswissenschaftlerInnen.

Hereby we want to inform you that the Bavarian University Center for Latin America and the São Paulo Research Foundation (Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo - FAPESP) are launching their 1^st Joint Call on FAPESP/BAYLAT-Workshops 2016/2017, after having three very successful Calls for Startup Financing. (Please see: http://www.baylat.org/programme/fapespbaylat-workshop.html).

The Call for FAPESP/BAYLAT Workshops 2016/2017 is open for all scientific disciplines. The workshops will be co-funded by FAPESP and BAYLAT in equal measures.

Deadline is the 26^th of February 2016.

 The following costs for the workshop participants can be covered from the funding:

1. International (economy class) airfares for up to 20 researchers (including Workshop Coordinators and Mentors) from the Free State of Bavaria to travel to the State of São Paulo and back and from the State of São Paulo to travel to the Free State of Bavaria and back.
2. Local travel costs for attendees (Free State of Bavaria and SP State).
3. Hotel costs and
4. Perdiems (allowances)

The aim of the workshops is to stimulate longer term links between the Free State of Bavaria, Germany and the State of São Paulo, Brazil, as well as to contribute to the personal and professional development of the participants.
