Würzburg childcare study in the COVID-19 pandemic

 

The Wü-KiTa-CoV, the Würzburg Childcare Study in the COVID-19 Pandemic, investigated g the acceptance of different surveillance protocols for the early detection of SARS-CoV-2 infections and their spread in childcare centres (KiTas). In the follow-up study Wü-KiTa-Cov II, a surveillance concept with continuous screening for SARS-CoV-2 infections in childcare centres, based on 2x/week mouthwash for 'pooled' PCR and/or rapid antigen testing at home, was being evaluated with regard to usability. The ICE-B provided methodological support and support in data analyses.
