PCOR

PCOR-MII aims to integrate Patient-Reported Outcomes (PROs) into the National Core Dataset (NCD) of the Medical Informatics Initiative (MII). We will use probabilistic test theory to develop an interoperable PRO scoring system and demonstrate its general value by examining unmet medical needs for younger and older patients with rare and common conditions in three notable mental and physical clinical examples: Anorexia nervosa, patients with persistent somatic symptoms, and patients undergoing kidney transplantation.

PCOR-MII is a collaboration between patients, computer scientists and clinicians from 11 MII sites as well as international initiatives (H2O, PROMIS) and PRO providers (Heartbeat). The project builds on the developments of the Network of University Medicine (NUM) and focusses on user-oriented functions, legal and interoperability aspects, both from a psychometric and technical point of view.
