PM4ONCO

PM4Onco - Personalised Medicine for Oncology is one of the projects in Module 3 of the Medical Informatics Initiative, which is funded by the National Decade Against Cancer.
The Institute for Medical Data Sciences at the University Hospital of Würzburg (UKW) is involved as co-lead in work package 1 "Integration with data from cancer registries".
The aim is to increase the utilisation of data from the state cancer registries (LKR) and to improve understanding of data flows and processes.
Therefore, a standardised input form for data transfer between the LKR and molecular genetic tumour boards of the clinics, as well as plausibility rules, are being developed.
In addition, the UKW is involved in work package 2 "Standardised core datasets" with a focus on the definition and expansion of the core dataset module Molecular Tumour Board.  In work package 7 "Roll-out", the UKW is involved in the technical implementation of PM4Onco at the local data integration centre.
