BETTER-CARE

BETTER-CARE investigates the needs-adapted and individualised care of patients following primary treatment for breast cancer. The aim is to optimise the follow-up care of patients after breast cancer through the use of digital applications and cross-sectional and interdisciplinary networking of all those involved in the care. Patients in the control group receive the standard care.

This is a multicentre, cluster-randomised, open, two-armed study. A baseline survey will be conducted for all participants upon inclusion in the study and a further survey will be conducted one year later. Information is collected on quality of life, therapy and its consequences, everyday activities and satisfaction.
