Webinar: Upcoming funding opportunities for Health Research & Biotechnology in Horizon Europe
Join us for an overview of the latest EU Framework Programme Horizon Europe and discover upcoming funding opportunities in health research for 2025. You will also learn about support options available through the Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR) for project ideas and tenders.
Why Horizon Europe?
As the European Union’s largest funding programme for research and innovation with a budget of €93.5 billion for 2021-2027 Horizon Europe is key to tackling global challenges and boosting Europe’s competitiveness.
What’s new in 2025?
The Horizon Europe cluster work programme, including the Health cluster, will be released in March/April 2025, with an application period from May to September 2025 (subject to change). Current drafts include exciting topics such as:
- Innovative interventions for mental, behavioural, and neurodevelopmental disorders
- Generative AI in healthcare
- Multinational clinical trials of orphan devices or breakthrough technologies
In addition, bottom-up calls such as the European Innovation Council’s Pathfinder Open and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) provide opportunities for a wide range of researchers.
The University Hospital Würzburg’s Research Management Division (GB 1) and the Bavarian Research Alliance invite interested researchers from the Würzburg University and University Hospital to a webinar on the upcoming funding opportunities in health research and biotechnology through Horizon Europe.
