Berta Cillero-Pastor

Dr. Cillero-Pastor is an expert in mass spectrometry imaging and spatial proteomics. She has a strong publication record in the development and application of spatially resolved mass spectrometry-based methods in the field of biomedicine. She has led the state-of-the-art MSI CORE facility at the M4i institute (Maastricht University) between 2015 and February 2022. Since March 2022, she is principal investigator and assistant professor at MERLN where she develops MSI tools to study novel drugs and molecular classifiers for patient phenotyping in the context of ageing.
