Translational stroke research. Functional MR imaging methods for systemic and cognitive neurosciences in various research areas including pain research. Advanced methods of automated functional image analysis in close collaboration with computational biology/bioinformatics. Experimental MRI for small animal models in various research areas of the neurosciences with focus but not restriction on neurovascular models, close collaboration with experimental Physics and core imaging facilities of university and university hospital campus.
